I nabbed a few more of the themes they made over at the mothership and have been diddlin around with them. The Emerald Sea theme is pretty neat so I started on it.
I got the logo in place. (I cheated. Made it over at cooltext.com) Now I'm working on something I've been wondering about for a while. Instead of just using plain text in the catagory title insert a img src call and use an image.
Again I cheated and laid it out over at cooltext using the same format as the logo but making the font a 12 like the default size for the titles. I changed just the Entrance Portal title to see how it came out.
Looks decent enough but here's the problem. I saved the rendered image as a png on a transparent background. The transparent back ground is way too big and pushes out the height almost twice what it started out. If memory serves the catagory strip is 30 pixels tall out of the box. Not that it looks too awful but the last post title on the right is the stock size and looks out of place.
I need to reduce the size of the catagory title back ground with out loosing the transparency.
Any ideas? http://animeappeal.com/forum.php?styleid=87

Revisiting my pool log saving issue.

Awhile now I have been using a small program called FTPsync. It works "alright"

I update my logs and multiple times a day I run the sync. This will compare the files on my local drive to the FTP and upload the new file. Works as designed.

Here's my issue.
If I am at home. Download the logs and make changes. Then upload the logs.
If I run the FTPsync from my office computer, it will overwrite the files on the FTP with the "old" files Basically it wont download the "new" file from the FTP to the Local computer.

FTPsync seems to be a one way transmission for updating the logs.
Anyone know of anything different that will work in my situation?
